Hey Beme Team!
Device: LG G5
Android: 6.0.1
Kernel: 3.18.20
SW version: V10d-216-70
Beme: 1.0.25

Awful Video Quality
I've been experiencing really bad video quality. My Bemes are pixelated and are a pain to view.
I've attached a screenshot.
First I thought it was because I was on a bad mobile data connection, but that is not it.
The current version of Beme is the problem. I rolled back to 1.0.23 and that seems to be better. Not great but better. However that version has the screen bur in issue, so I'm worried to use it. I had to have my phone replaced because of a screen burn in that Beme constituted to.
Have you guys implemented a different compression algorithm? If so, it ain't good!
Please fix this, as it's making a lot of people unhappy, not just me, and hindering us from making quality content. It's making me, and others a lot less enthusiastic about making Bemes. I mean if I can't make watchable Bemes why do it at all?
The divide between the iOS and the Android app is getting greater and greater, and it a huge put-off IMHO. I mean you can now notice which user has an iPhone and which an Android device, just from the quality of the video. That's a real shame.
I have one of the, or the best (opinions differ) smartphone cameras available today, yet I can't take advantage of that awesome camera, because the Beme app just makes the video quality unwatchable.
I love Beme, but if this continues to be the way you guys are going I'll probably just quit, because it's not worth the trouble... ((

Update:
Hi Robert,
We are definitely interested in improving video quality and are hard at work to find a solution that works on all the different android devices that are out there. Thank you for your patience and for continuing to update us on your experience. We hope to have improvements for you very soon.
Stephanie
